The June issue of the JEI consists primarily of papers presented at the annual meeting of AFEE which is held in conjunction with the Allied Social Science meetings each January. Papers that advance institutional theory and methodology are also welcome and interdisciplinary work is encouraged. The potential spectrum of topics is broad including public policy, economic development, environmental and ecological issues, education policy, economic stabilization, labor relations, monetary management, and other topics. The Association sponsors the publication of the quarterly JOURNAL OF ECONOMIC ISSUES. The Association for Evolutionary Economics (AFEE) is an organization of institutional economists with members throughout the United States, Canada, Latin America, Western Europe, and Asia.
